Want to cut some bonnet vents
so I want to add some bonnet vents behind the aerocatches so I have sketched some options.

Is that not infront of the aero catch?!?
Your car looks quite period so I would try and stick with something that is simple and a nod to period, ignore the fact it is near the catch to
dictate its shape.
And for venting, the best vent is the biggest vent!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Thanks Guys looks like its aero style but I may make it the same size each end then put another aero at the front like adi but the other way
around.
ADithorp how do you do the wire grill did you make your own form tool? If so have you still got it as I was going to make one.

I ended up with 2 AeroCatches per side because the front corner didn't seem very secure. Not sure I'd do it that way again but prob just
have some sort of locating pin at the front end.
If memory serves, I made a former by cutting out a hole the outline of the catch in MDF and a slightly smaller insert (pos' just trimmed down
the bit I cut out) that I screwed to a flat piece, put the mesh between and squeezed the lot in the vice. Don't know if I still have it as I
can't recall seeing it about. I used stainless woven mesh as it has a lot better airflow than expanded ally stuff. Sprayed it black and
PU'd it to the inside
