Ceramic Exhaust Coating.

Paid quite a bit of money to get my R1 exhaust manifold blasted and ceramic coated probably around 12 months ago.
Kept it inside the house and finally fitted it about 3 months ago.
The car is kept in a dry well ventilated integral garage.
I’ve now noticed spots of rust coming through the ceramic coating.
Do you think I’ll have any comeback if I remove the exhaust and take it back to the place that did the work.
How long does ceramic coating last.

Its got to be worth a few photos as a conversation starter with the place which did it at the very least.

I wouldn't go to the hassle of taking it off just for someone to say "Nothing to do with me pal!" But pics and an email, yes.

You'd need to prove you didn't scratch it etc which might be a bit tricky.

Not sure
The bake on type I think. Apparently they’ve had a couple of issues with silver coating so opted for a gold version.

Unfortunately you may find the rust will eventually come back. Motorcycle exhausts generally rust from the inside out so there is likely to be a small pin hole letting it through.
I could be wrong but 50% of my business is repairing classic motorcycles exhausts and and the main thing I notice with holes is they always start with a crater in the inside until the deepest part breaks through.
