Locost spares or repair project
Ive (wife) finally concluded i'll not get round to sorting this so it's got to go.
Locost chassis, Escort rack and 5 linked Escort rear axle, Cortina front suspension, Gaz coil overs all round, 1800 Zetec on EFI with a 5 speed type 9
box, Tiger racing seats and 15" alloys,195/50 tres which will be knackered by now, 4 point harness and hydraulic handbrake. Another engine is
included along with a pair of 2.0 cams.
No instrumentation and only has brake lights.
Originally built as an auto test car in Scotland (hence hydraulic handbrake) and I bought it about 13 Years ago and did a few track days in it.
Was great until the prop rubber donut let go at Oulton Park in Feb 2014, been laid up ever since, initially in a mates garage but under a cover on my
drive for two years.
Prop failure caused some minor damage to tunnel and took out fuel and wiring to pump in rear. Happened embarrassingly on the pit straight and had to
pull off over the high kerb swatting the sump which broke the lower engine to gearbox mounting "tails ??"
so block is scrap but another 85k dry stored engine is included and also another UJ'd prop I bought after the track day.
Photos in my archive folder "Locost for sale"
Obviously a tricky thing to price but must have over a grands worth of parts so I'd like £800.
Located CH49 Wirral.

Hope it gets repaired as it looks like it would be a nice car.
