Yeah. I got the 10mm woven stainless. Good price for the mesh, but postage was a little steep. I still have some left. How much were you after?

I can't seem to upload any pictures, but I've turned it through 45' and fitted it from behind in the nosecone.

mesh price

Hi

I couldn't seen any pricing on the site.

Probably just not looking hard enough.

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to mesh the nose cone in the picture?

Thanks

Chris

The piece I got was 810 x 1220mm £45 +vat. There is enough to do at least two Viento nosecones, with a fair bit left over in off-cuts. The mesh is actually square. The reason why I got so much was to be sure I had enough when I turned it through 45' (to get the diamond pattern).

When I've got round to measuring the leftovers I'll put a note up on here.

Hi Guys

We buy mesh from these people.

Its 7mm stainless steel woven mesh. Its available in polished finish and black powder coat.

Also its already cut on the diamond and sold in pieces designed for "7" nose cones.

It was really top quality stuff for £45 which included all post and packaging.

As soggy did, I got some ally mesh from B&Q for around £20 ISTR, enough to do two nosecones.

Donners, what have you used to fasten yours in there, Ive tried glassing/car fillering cable-tie eyes in but they work loose after a little while and I end up running without

In my F27 i glassed in some varnished pieces of wood to the inside of the cone and stainless self tappers and large washers to secure it, it aint moved in over 3 years - not even when a suicidal pheasant took me on!
