Ideas for Vinyl Graphics Please Guys
I am thinking of applying some graphics to my finished car in an effort to make the rather plain paintwork a little more dynamic - mainly the side
view. It ocurred to me that there is a wealth of experience on here and I would really value any ideas or suggestions from you guys. I am open to
literally ANYTHING but I would ideally like to disguise the many shut lines that are on the sides
First of all, here is a 'blank canvas'

Now I would really love to see what you guys can come up with - a magazine feature is looming on the horizon and I would ideally like to get it done
before the photo shoot
If your design is used I will of course give you due credit in the feature.

No designs yet, but I really like the ultra shiny 'chrome' effect vinyl. Really look good on your very modern car. Just a Thought !
This car used it at Brands !

Personally, mate, I think your "blank canvas" looks pretty damn good! The shut lines look fairly even and tight, so they add to the
technical look... just MHO, anyway.
If you are dead set on doing something, how about a Ford GT40 style graphic, maybe extended to cover the whole bottom side panel - in white/off-white,
with a logo or name cut out so you can see the body colour through.

The single stripe is an interesting idea although I am not sure about the yellow - maybe silver as the rest of the car is in blue & grey.

Another vote for....
... leaving it simple.
It's a great shape, lovely paint job, (and cool headlights too!) so why clutter it up with silly patterns, stripes, etc?
While you might be lucky and find a really cool design, there's a good chance it might just look naff.
Just MHO of course....
Adam.

When I read that you nearly got a big NNOOO!! as I thought you were going to do it 'Fast & Furious' Style, i.e totally spoil it....
But I like the bottom one with the yellow stripes.
Then again your car is perfect as it is. I think you car looks more sophisticated and exotic just as it is and graphics or stripes would just lower
the tone of the car. Much like doing the same thing to a Ferrari.

I do like Hammerheads interpretation of the classic Ford Stripes... Can't go wrong with those.

silver fat stripe along the bottom looks fine;
can you paint the top (removeable?) the same colour (silver) to make is less obvious?

c) enhance it a little
The only removable bits are the windows (so it is a sort of T top I suppose)
