Where can I find this bodywork?
Hi All,
Has anyone seen or know the maker of this? I remember reading it somewhere that they don't make kits but turn-key instead. Anyone knows where or
who makes/sells this kind of bodywork? esp. the nose!

It's a Donkervoort, a dutch Seven-clone. Rather expensive, but really, really nice.
It uses Audi-engines. (www.donkervoort.nl)
Similar bodywork:

He is building it right now, but it's looking good. When he's finished, he'll probably sell it too.

I love how close those wings are to the tyres on the front, Looks really sleek!
Best thing to do for a build....
Ditch the wife!

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

when I made my grp rear wings I nearly screwed up like that! Wheel dia is about 600mm so i made the opening 600mm. Realised before I committed and
made it 640mm.
Would have been chicken and egg. Put the wing on, cant fit the wheel. put the wheel on, cant get to the brackets to fit the wing!
coulda been about 20+ hrs of work down the swannie.

Thank Mave! That's it, Donkervoort, just couldn't remember the name. But unfortunately, they don't sell just the body kit! Was
hoping that someone knows some source somewhere that sells it.
Anyway, will be intouch with Martin, saw his website... quite cool!

Jon,
Yep Ive been there as well,
to remove wheel, take off front wing first
a bit tedious I know but does give a sleeker look
does also mean that when I upgrade my wheels to something better that I will have to make new stays

anyone thought of/come up with a design for some kind of quick release wing so you get the best of both worlds?

Speak to Hicost and Locodude about quick release wings as I am sure THey have perfected the necessary modifications
and may be able to help with questions

Most of us have already perfected the quick release wing. Usually at about 80mph so we can run over it as well.
yours, Pete.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Pete
That is exactley how Hicost and locodude
let their wings go
I think Hicost is a bit dissapionted that Ive still got both of my wings as he has had more wings than Boeing
but then his car has done about 10 times the mileage of mine
when ever I drive my car I watch with intrest the pair of dancing wings at the front, and on several occasions thought one was about to part company ,
and go straight under the rear wheels

...and what amazes me is how incredibly simple Steve's wing stays are!
Once I get my 'real wheels' I'll be copying his design.
(we had this discussion at Stoneleigh, didn't we Steve! )
