Wheel Choice - Undecided
Hello, I need to buy some wheels 15" with tyres (prob 195/50/15) this week and have still not decided which ones yet. I have about £450 to
spend.
I am building a Red GTS Panther and my current favourite is :

There some pics in my archive of my GTS fitted with Wolfrace Snipers, which are very similar to the street octanes, but have a centre cap over the
middle of the wheel.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't trust those "multifittment" wheels (like the first one), too many holes and not enough metal
in the middle for me.
i'd go for the second ones.
Cheers

Yep those second ones are looking good on Rays machine... First and third are too fussy.

Yes they do look good, I was a bit concerned with the first having too much shine in the middle.
Ray, did you pay a good price for them? If so would you mind me asking where from.
Cheers, Andy

from rochford tyres,
think they were £360+delivery for the wheels+tyres.(pretty sure they knock £100 off if you don;t want tyres)
tyres are ok, for the road but as said A539's would be a good bet from ebay

Well I think I have decided upon the streeet octanes (the second ones) in size 15"
However they come in 4x108 et35 or et40. They are to fit std sierra hubs, which size do I go for ?

Sierra wheels vary from ET35 to ET42, so either should be ok, the decider is the position of your wings, measure from hub mounting face to the inside
of the arch and use whichever gives you clearance without looking too far in

Sorry for being a bit thick but what does the ET35/40 relate to. I guess from your answer this is the distance from hub face to outer point of wheel
?
Also what tyre size 195/50/15 or 195/45/15 ??
Also I do not have my wings on yet so which is safest to go for without checking ?
Nothings is easy is it.

I have ET35's on my gts and they fit just fine.
ET40s will bring the outer face of the wheel another 5mm inboard.
195/50/15 are the most readily available I think.

Where I am getting them from offers them with Toyos at 195/45/15 OR 195/50/15
Are there any benefits either way ?
