Traffic Lights - love them or hate them
I find in my Cobra that I slow down when approaching traffic lights in the hope that they will turn red so I can have another blast of acceleration
when they change back to green.
In my tin top it's the exact opposite - I speed up to beat the red.
Are you all the same in the 7's?

And that is why you have to look out for tintops, because they just don't see you when they are in a hurry!

I hate the things, especially in Swindon.
Someone decided that it would be a good idea to put a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing next to roundabouts. And when I say next to, I mean
within 20 feet of the roundabout exit.... One in particular is soooooo dangerous. Turn right round the roundabout (which has pretty plants on it, so
you can't see over the top of it), and where you expect to see accelerating traffic, there's suddenly a queue of cars stopped at the red
lights and a little old lady in the middle of the road.....
whoever thought that one up was just crazy.......

It's my philosophy that if you may only travel at 60 KPH you might as well have as much fun as possible getting to 60.
Also as long as Mr Plod isn't there in person to pull you over, cameras don't flash for wheel spin.

I hate traffic lights.
There are so many intersections in the states that would be perfect candidates for roundabouts, but instead they waste electricity, gas, and time by
putting traffic lights in.
I think even in a sportier car I would hate them. I prefer driving to idling. Although if I could beat the rustang in the lane beside, I might not
hate them so much.

I have the exact same thing local to me aswell!
Only, just to make it worse still, the roundabout is really banked so you really can get round it in a hurry!!!

I think its because when your in a fast car you want to race off the traffic lights with some stupid chav in a fiesta which has elastic bands for
tyres because its wheels are too big, who thinks he has half a chance of beating you.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

How did you guess
But then I do it twice as bad when there's no one around so maybe not.

I hate traffic lights!
Ipswich council keep putting in more and more - every week there seems to be a new one somewhere.
I have a 6 mile direct route into town - last time I counted there were 15 sets of lights, and I'm sure there are more now. Note that 3 or 4
miles of that route is open dual-carriageway, so that's 15 lights in 2 or 3 miles.
