diy body panels

hi ive started makeing some panels but ive found it easyer to make them out of shhet steel. iam thinking of welding a small 3-5mm bar along the edge of the sheet like this to get a nice radius. but do you think this will be ok for the sva.

It all depends on which panel and where, you need to be more specific

its the outer body panels that will be on show.

I'm still lost.

The side panels just need to lip over the top and bottom chassis rails.

You car is gonna be heavy if you use steel.

OadamO. I think a lot of people are confused about what you are trying to do. Is there any chance you could pop some pictures in your archive so we can see what it is you are doing? It doesn't sound like a locost seven alike. Are you making a terrapin (car)?

i'm confused - but would be interested what it is you are doing to find that working steel be easier than working aluminium?

looking through the photo archive it looks like a saxo converted to rear wheel drive.
