He has been trying to oust him for a few years, trouble is get rid of Moseley and find Jean Todt gets the job.
Personally Stewart or Lauda would be my ideal but I can think of a few other ex-driver Jackie Ickx that would be ace.

John Todt getting the job would be insane, massive conflict of interests.
Jackie Ickx though, haven't heard that name in many years!
How about Eddie Jordan or Paul Stoddart?
Cheers

Jean Todt -- is Max's choice of successor !
Jackie Ickx got the Spa circuit up to modern standards and back on the calender.
Eddie Irvine is mainly interested females -- usually in 2s or 3s.
Eddie Jordan is viewed as too aligned with the "engish" teams
After the indy debacle Paul Stoddart is not Max's favorite guy --- rumour has it he right up at the top of the first up against the wall list
with LH, RD, JYS and Martin Brundle (Martin and JYS are close allies).

If Paul Stoddart is not Max's favourite guy, that would make him the perfect replacement
Cheers

AH the joys of a democracy. Surely there's more to getting in than Max saying so??????
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

How about doing what the Liberal and Democrats did and take one name from each and introduce a bit of dyslexia so we end up with
EDDIE STOBBART

So the papers are full of 'negative publicity' are they?
It seems to me it's Max who is having to sort all this out!! He didn't cause any of it!
Life is really quite simple; people have to be punished for doing wrong. Or do we follow the PC way and think that a simple 'sorry' puts
everything right.
We are all play the 'patriotic' - Ron's done nothing wrong. If a GEO does not know what his high ranking staff are doing there is a
basic fault.
We all wanted Balestre out when it didn't suite us, now it's all started again.
There was no outcry when Tyrell were kicked out years ago, could be because he didn't have a young english driver!

Stewart couldn't handle being pres of the B.R.D.C. and nearly lost us the British Grand Prix. How would he cope as the President of the F.I.A?!
As for Lauda, his management of Jaguar was a complete joke. At the teams Christmas party that year his speech to the troops was "This year the
team was completely sh!t. You had all better improve next year or we will all be out of the job"! Ha-ha, way to motivate the guys Niki!
