Anyone know a good guide on making things with fiberglass?

i want to try and make my own throttle body airbox out of glass fiber, but no idea where to start...

Have a look at Steve Gusterson's site. Details of suppliers, buckmaking and laying up.

A good book is:
Competition Car Composites by Simon McBeath.
Includes glass fibre and also carbon.

I know this isn't fibreglass, but (even though it's v long) it makes really good reading (if you skip others comments and just read about the process!)

You never know it might convince you to go CF!

I've a couple of books on it:
Automotive Gassfibre by Dennis Foy,

Competition Car Composites by Simon McBeath.

Both are good, the first is fairly down to earth & more about making replica panels etc & the second is much more about making stuff for motorsport as the title suggests, covers carbon fibre too. However I've yet to put any of this into practice, enjoyed reading them though!

CFS used to do a handy guidline booklet and it was locost.

I'd also point out that CFS are a great outfit to deal with.

Massive stock and very quick delivery.
