Well if I'm to SVA to hell with the steel shell!
Well if I'm to SVA to hell with the steel shell!
If I'm to have my mini mojo SVA tested i might as well ditch the shell (wich will probably rust, again!) and go for a complete fibreglass body
shell.
I've already got a fibreglass front end, bonnet, boot and doors! So might as well go the whole hog!
The only reason i was trying to keep the shell was to keep the registration and avoid SVA but as I'm now going to SVA they'll probably Q
plate it anyway!
shame not to keep the reg plate but I'm not that fussed.

See if you can get your hands on one of the Stewart and Arden replica shells.
I think they were being made by Gerry Hawkridge, but stand to be corrected.
If you don't know them, see http://www.statim.co.uk/Minisprint.htm

didn't Hawk cars go bust?
I don't think Rover liked them making the shells!
Might be wrong!

No Hawk Cars are fine, it was when BMW took over Rover it all went funny. Local chap in T Wells used to run a specialist Mini service/repair place who
was commissioned (fwir) to build up the shells).
IIRC BM tossers jumped on everyone who used the name Mini in their trading name.
