Road tax
Guys, i;m building a locoblade (aries motorsport BEC), just a question out of interest whats the road tax for a under 1000cc BEC for a year.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Shouldnt make any difference, before a 2000/2001 everything is done on engine size.
Im running a 99 R1 and paid £120 for 12 months yesterday.

It's 'cos yours is a Westfield so you can afford more
I think you've paid the wrong amount to be honest.
I think there are 3 tax brackets:
>1550
<1550
<1100

There are only 2 brackets, 1549cc and less or 1550cc and above. The lower bracket is, I believe, £120 per year.
All kit cars will be part of this scheme rather than the newer CO2 based brackets so Andy, looks like you have paid too much!
