Grille required for MOT

Just booked my 4th MOT, and the tester said I would have to fit a grille before the test, I have done it but seems a bit odd to me. There is a 400w 15" fan within finger reach behind it though Rescued attachment Car 1.jpg

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

off topic, but Mark, your Blue paintwork never ceases to catch my eye. It always looks such a deep deep shine

Is it production car colour or something you had mixed?

B+Q fine wire mesh. You could even spray paint it if you're bothered....

Strange ruling though- I'm not sure where the MOT manual says that!!!

It is Rover trophy blue JFV, with 3 coats of lacquer, flatted and polished, makes it REALLY shiney!
