I had them on my first set of wings. It's a different look, not better or worse.

When the wing stays broke I decided to go for conventional indicators.

depends on the type etc
had them on my old rh2b and almost failed sva due to non radius edges

others face front look ok on some cars and stupid on others

all about preference, type, shape and colour

The added weight (admittedly small) will help break the stays. In my view the wings need to be as light as possible, as they are subject to constant shock

to get round the shock, i used rubber washers under the heads of the bolts and then rubber washers again underneath in between the wings and the supports.
far less stress or grp cracking

there is a dax in complete kit car that has led's drilled into the cycle wings as side lights maybe you could use the same idea for your indicators
just a thought

I had them on my first car and they were ok, though i prefer the nose mounted type on my current car.

Tis the standard option on the Striker but I went back to nose mounted when I changed the wings. Slightly easier to mount I suppose. The weight saving would be negligible but everything helps!

slightly off thread but i didnt think lights on the wings were allowed ie the leds as side lights drilled into leading edge as they will move differently relatively to the body.

cos I was thinking of mounting some lights on the wings so tahat when you turn the wheels they illuminate the bend kind of like ford and vauxhall adaptive lighting but there was a thread on here that said that was a no no

sorry for slight detour of thread
