Must apologise first as this questions isn't in relation to a locost, but it could be so I hope nobody minds. I understand that the front arches must
cover the width of the tyre/wheel but is there any legal spec as to how much of the circumference of the wheel/tyre must be covered for both SVA/MOT
tests.
Hope somebody can help.

Just looked in my book of words,it dosnt really say ,but looking down onto the wheel if you cant see the side of the tyre,and the wheel rim is covered
by the mudguard you should be ok hth

Somewhere in the deepest depths of my mind, I remember seeing 120 degrees of coverage required around the circumference. Don't know where I saw it,
but it was many years ago.

On most of the Locosts I've seen, the front of the m/cycle mudguard is either above, or just in front of, a line drawn vertically from the front of
the wheel rim.
