caterham screen on Indy?
Hi,
does the Caterham (narrow) screen fit the Indy, width wise? (If it doesn't follow the scuttle profile perfectly, I can live with that. But
I'm mainly interested in the total width of the screen).

Hi Marcel
I'm not sure about the caterham screen but i have used an early westfield screen, the screen frame is not a perfect fit but then again the MK
scuttle on my car isnt perfect either (as most have found when fitting mirrors)
The rubber seal between the scuttle and screen frame hide the slightly imperfect fit.
Hope this helps

I have an MK scuttle and Caterham screen (heated !) It nearly fits. I've modded the scuttle to make the sides slightly more vertical, but
there's still a gap at the screen extremes which the original Caterham rubber won't fill. So far I'm just living with that

Thanks guys. Both options look good. Were you able to use the original stanchions?

Not in the case of the westfield screen, i had to fashion something with a hammer as usuall
Possibly the caterham supports will work though.

Likewise, I made my own stanchions from 3mm stainless steel. The Caterham ones were aluminium, but they didn't come with my screen.

Westfeild cast items will not fit so made mine from 6mm ali plate (absoulte pain to bend to shape...)
