Further Project X progress!

Here are some phots of where I am up to now.
The wishbones are eliptical tube and are not finished, so no critisim yet on these!!!

I am self employed and currently work shifts. This week I am on nights. I go to work at 3.30pm and get home at 6am. Up at 11am. This gives me 4.5 hrs per day for working on the car.

To give you an idea, it is going to be an "atom" type car with an R1.

I got them on ebay from someone who I think the username is redpip69.
Not cheap, especially if you buy the mounting brackets and padding.
They are about £220 but the padding is around £40 per seat and brackets about £25 per set.
All I can say is that they are very good quality using close weave black glassfibre and are reasonably light at around 4-5kg each.

Plywood chassis like the original Marcos 1800? good idea strong, stiff and easy to do with a router and Aerolite adhesive ( special epoxy for wood)
