Sticking Interior Mirror?

What adhesive is used to stick interior mirrors to the glass screen?

Knocked mine off today removing the headlining but Superglue doesnt do the trick?

HELP!!

You can get special glass glue from large diy shops.

If its a metal arm do not use superglue or the like you need the adhesive stickers designed for the Job these take expansion into account I found out to my expens when my screen cracked down the middle due to the heat on the mirror stem

Go to autoglass and get the right pad for it it will save you time in the long run

I worked at a Rover dealership in 1989 and we had a steady stream of cars coming in for new screens. All were cracked top to bottom down the middle of the screen, and all of them had some sort of Araldite or Superglue holding the rear view mirror on. Clean the screen and mirror mount and use the correct mirror mount pad.

Don't know how it would go over at your end. But a few months ago the mirror of my gf's tintop fell off. I took it to carglass and they stuck it back on for free. So imho not worth messing with yourself...
