Hi Guys
We raced our Vortx R1 at the National Supersprint Championships on the weekend and finished 3rd outright.
1st was a local Radical type car and 2nd was a highly modified Skyline GTR. There was a shocking headwind that the R1 just couldn't get through
but this MNR runs an absolutely stock 06 R1 and is the stock standard RT+ kit so not too bad at all. Very happy with 3rd in this company

I will try and get some video up this week.
Cheers
Greg and Sonja
What is most amusing is the size of the engines in the cars either side of you on the results
great result... always difficult to compare yourself with GTR's and Evo's, but against Radicals and the like that is a top result.
Nice to see MNR's doing well.
Paul.

Rotary and forced induction engines are subject to capacity multipliers as follows:
Rotaries – multiply by 1.8
Forced Induction – multiply by 1.7
Forced Induction Rotaries – multiply by 3.06 so if you see a T next to the capacity it has turbo and attracts the multiplier to determine the
category.
The car is not road registered so it ends up as 5D with the other sports cars. It is punching well above it's weight here so it shows just how
good it really is to be third outright and second in class.
Great news Greg and Sonja, you're going from strength to strength! Think what you could do with a 'Busa in it!
Thanks also for the advice on the Muffett diff detent. I got the parts from Muffett and have fitted them.
I don't think a Busa could keep up with this thing either.
