Hello; require the thread size for tierod ends on Escort quick ratio rack. The Cologne Capri ones I have are a smaller diameter thread. I have one that fits, I think it was from the Hyundai Stellar which provided the (Cortina) uprights. Seems to be an Imperial thread as apposed to a Metric.

Mk 1 Escort racks and all RS Escorts use imperial thread as are all Capris, unless you are fitting rack ectenders only way I know round the problem is to fit the tie rods off a Ford (Cortina) with metric threads.
