A press would be ideal
or you can pull them through with a nut and loads of washers

and if you ant got enough washers use a 1/2" drive socket

yep - pull through by doing the nut up.

I did this but frist go was to press unsing a vice but they didn't go in square - I was lucky enough to be able to getthe wheel on; doing it up squared them up.

It sounds brutal but they can be hammered in quite satisfactorily by laying the hub face on your vice opened just sufficiently and hammering the studs in from the back with a Club hammer. This is how I have always done it and checking with a mechanic friend he confirmed that is the way they do it in the trade.

Hi, when doing ours the nut and bolt method i wasnt happy - chewed up the nut thread and washers got a bit mangled. I think in the end it was done with a hydraulic press most local garages would have them then you get them bang on square.
