Brake Balance Bar Fitting

I know I am going to regret this question, as I am sure the answer is staring me in the face, I have done a search but can only find answers on how to set it up

I have fitted the pedal box and the master cylinders, I am trying to fit the balance bar but cannot work out how to screw it in and keep the clevises in place, I hope this makes sense

how far did you screw the clevis on the push rod?

Tried with just a few turns and then up until I could see the thread through the other end.

Its just if I have the bar screwed into one master cyclinder and as I try and screw it into the other the original unscrews it self

not quite sure i understand your problem but you need to thread the clevis's onto the balance bar first then wind the push rods into the clevis.is that any help?.m.

I didn't really know how to ask, but you have explained it, I didn't think you could turn the push rods but now i know it should be easy

I had exactly the same problem, spent ages trying to work it out. A friend told me it was ok to turn the push rods. Sorted in no time. I did cut the clips off of the cylider boots to make it easier as the boots kept twisting, then replaced clips with tiny cable ties once set.
