Hi, just wondering if any other mnr owners needed to trim the widest parts of the full GRP seats to get them in to clear the tunnel and side interior
panel? Mine seem awfully tight and theres no interior trim in yet. Pain in the arse as ive just finished the u triming them DOH!
Cheers
Adam
Yes, I had to sand the sides of the seats down a bit to stop them scraping on the tunnel cover and side panels.
As i understood only the holes for the seatbelts need trimming not the entire seat.
How is the cover for the clocks coming along? I have been looking today and think i need to make one or would some of that self ahesive foam arround
the clocks be ok?
Cheers stuart i just wanted to check as id not heard of anyone doing it before so thought maybe it was something id fitted wrong.
Paul - i hadnt checked if the seatbelt holes needed trimming yet but if they do thats a pain as ive already u trimmed them. I put my seats in today
without the tunnel and interior side panel and the seat looks like its overlaps the chassis rails. As for the clocks i have made a cover with some
dense foam. Im not sure how much needs to be covered but ive made mine oversized to be on the safe side and im also goin to utrim the round the sharp
edge of the tacho and shift light. All to be ripped off straight after sva
