Wet weather

Has anyone got any sort of wet weather gear for their Vortx? I'm just thinkibng about something simple to cover the cockpit in case of an unexpected shower. A split Tonneau cover is the obvious answer but there doesn't appear to be one for the Vortx?

You can get a windscreen. A simple flintstones roof between that and the roll hoop might keep the worst of the weather out.

I made some half doors for mine. They kept road spray off a treat.

Woolies trim will supply the material and fasteners and have on-line ordering.

Then make a full size template out of card, showing the zip etc then take it all to a company who make tarpaulins for trucks etc and they will be able to make it for you. I did this years ago for a hood for my beach buggy. The one I used was very cheap and did it in just one day, just small fry job for folk who cover trucks.

Talk to Piddy (Luego section) he has made a very nice and simple cover, and it works well.

Cheap as well.

I understand why the half hood costs as the double duck is 41 quid a meter. No point in trying vinyl as it is to streeeeeeeeetchy
