wishbone advice please
daniel mason - 14/4/10 at 07:08 PM

when looking through the mnr archives i noticed that the front upper wishbone has one bar that is connected very close to back of camber adjuster and one which is slightly more outboard where it connects to camber adjuster bar!
every mnr in the archive has the bar closest to camber adjuster towards the rear of the car but it does not look correct on mine. any help is welcome and will post pics to show;
pic 1 is the way that looks correct to me but not how others are

For positive caster (to give self centering ) the top ball joint centre should be rewards of the lower ball joint centre

Picture No 1 would give very little (if any) setback and therefore little/no self-centreing. No 2 gives the required setback and will self-centre better.
