MY Potential IVA failing points :-)

Okay, this is the list of bits I missed, some not serious, some pretty damn serious, some just plain annoying

Cover triangle on scuttle missing
Throttle return spring missing
Secure throttle cable with zip ties
Pinch bolt column too short, not enough Nyloc
O/S rocker bolt too short (Nyloc)
Oil pipe fowling shocker movement
No locknuts on pushrods
Fuel pipe rear not supported, too close to propshaft
Front Body Alignment out
All oil pipes need P clips to stop movement
Bias adjuster removed(Then Replaced )
Incorrect washers on front suspension, shockers, steering rack arghhhhhh
Incorrect top camber washers
Excessive kinking in fuel line rear
Rear light wiring needs gromets through body to wing
Rear wishbone spacing incorrect
Handbrake cables routed wrong
Fuel pump insecure
Rear wiring insecure
Digidash symbol (This is fitted but was missed)
Rear fuel lines fowling propshaft
Speed sensor catching magnets
incorrect fastners on N/S pushrods
Oil pressure sensor requires flexi pipe (arghh forgot to order this)
Quaife breather needs catch tank (On order)
SVA kit (Now fitted)
Incorrect rear caliper spacing
NSR shock hitting body
no grommets on cables through footwell
reverse gearknob insufficient radius
Brake light switch fouling shocks (Arghh forgot to secure wiring today)
All wishbones front rear to remove due to rod ends need setting up (Marc to do)
Needs boot cover
Rear calipers binding
Crank Breather (Not done yet)
Power Commander III on order
incorrect fastners on rear uprights.

Now it seems like I built this car with my eyes painted on

And the list is substantial, which involved removing the engine etc:

The job took around 7 weeks to complete based on my car being at MNR and only being able to work Sat Sun.

The car is finally back together today and ready for Daytuner Rolling Road then a bit more tidying up by me, then get booked in to IVA and fingers crossed

Basically for anyone new to this, make sure all your electrical wires are secure with Zip Ties, and make sure any pipework is secure with P clips to the frame.

There is no doubt that Marc will have saved me from an awful crash by checking all my bolts etc: And although totally soul destroying taking a car apart and then slowly rebuilding it, I do hope its worth it in the end, and now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi, I hope you get the car sorted soon. I saw the car at MNR whilst discussing my purchase! Looked good.

Safety is the key, that is a large list and yes an SVA/IVA failure is massively annoying, I would know my gearlever came off in my hand at mine!! DONT ASK!!
However think how much more comfortable you will feel once the car passes and your doing 70mph (tops!) down the motorway!
