What happened. You were going to change your seats when I saw you at Newark.

amalyos - 10/7/10 at 09:13 PM

I've been considering it for some time, and had an offer at the right time.
Going to build a track/RGB car, as most of my driving was trackdays, and I fancy some competition.
Planning on F1 in 5 years, first 50 year old in F1 !!

You got to have a dream

gavin174 - 10/7/10 at 09:43 PM

cerbera - 10/7/10 at 09:51 PM

Well, good luck with your new build and I will keep an eye out for you in F1

Steve, As well as RGB, have a look at the Magnificent Se7ens Championship. TimC and I went along to a round at Oulton and it did look very good. We decided to carry on the build to RGB Regs purely as they are stricter than Mag7's and then Tim's got the choice of both classes of racing...

Thanks Steve, I'll have a look at that, but like you I'll build for RGB.

What chassis are you building?

Steve Hignett - 11/7/10 at 04:16 PM

It's my own chassis

(still a 7 style though)

Some pics here: (not at all up to date though, it's nearly finished now with full cage...)

Well, you had the MNR a while...!

What are you building next?

Click the link below for a summary of the state of my car and my view on Mag7s.

I should say that I'm really pleased with the way that the RGB regs are changing so looking forward to getting involved in that more than ever.

Looks good Steve, I applaud your patience to build your own chassis.

Hi Steve,

Finally found my way here!

You'll be glad to here, I am taking good care of her for you!

Not sure if i'll be going to the Stafford show or not yet, but if your going, your always welcome to call round on your way past for a coffee!

Nash - 1/9/10 at 11:17 PM

But Steve, what are you going to do in the meantime?????

I know it doesn't take you long to build one but you'll get withdrawal symptoms.

I can always return your favour and take you around Lydden in mine if you get the DT's.

cheers....... Neil
