Silly question, perhaps, but is there a definite consensus on which side of the bulkhead framework to mount the ali panel?
I have perused enough build blogs/sites to see that both sides (engine side or cockpit side) have been used. I've mounted mine on the engine
side, already, as that is what I was advised and it seemed like the master cylinders' output pipes would require severe bending to clear the
middle frame tube. But...now I'm wishing that I had done it the other way so that the pedals would not be soooo far from the driver's
seat/gearshift/steering wheel and have a little more space in the footwell.
I'm 5' 11" with perhaps shortish legs. Wondering if the effort to relocate the pedal box, MCs and especially to re-route the rearward
brake pipe is worth it.
Likely, it all revolves around the not-so-movable gearshift lever (MT75 box), but since my supplier is slower than molasses in January...I have no
idea.
Any thoughts?

I always put the panel on the engine side. Then there are less corners for engine grim to get into.
Mine is on the cockpit side, it only moves the pedals in by 25mm, the pedal box I have is shaped to fit round the botton chassis rail presumabily give
a bit more stability.
I'm not moving mine though.
I would suggest you put it where you preffer now or it will continue to bug you forever, dont think it makes too much difference really.
