Any owners in Northamptonshire

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and have joined as I'm looking to get into kit cars with a seven of some sort.
So far I've been looking at a few options including the MNR Vortx Mazda but it would be good to see one in the flesh as it's hard to see much from build blogs and photos.

If there are any owners in the midlands who wouldn't mind showing off their pride and joy I'd be very grateful.
I'm not just looking at the MNR so any other seven owners would also be of interest. I haven't been able to find any meets advertised but I'm guessing there probably aren't any at this time of year.

So far I'm edging towards a Roadrunner SR2 but haven't yet seen an MNR or Indy. GBS is also another option.
Does anyone know how the above compare in terms of weight?

Not specific to MNR but, .....

There are quite a few in Northamptonshire. Any chance of being a bit more specific as to where (filling in your location might be helpful).

I used to be in Rushden, there are at least 3 there, probably at least 3 in Wellingborough, loads in/around Northampton its self.

There was a group that met at Overstone Manor, 2nd Wednesday of the Month.

I've got a luego which is a bit bigger your more than welcome
To have look I live in east northants.
My friend runs mazda on track who uses a sr2 as a demo car.
He's on his 2nd now and they drive very well.

In Milton Keynes and have Locost with bike engine.
Also check out FB with kit car owners in Midlands. Must be some on there

JGG - Do you know if the Overstone meet is still going?
I'm in Kingsthorpe so that would be very easy to get to for me.

I'll check out Mazda On Track too as it sounds like that might be a way to see or even experience an SR2. I've not really heard about the Luego but will have a look. It's always good to see what's out there.

You're just round the corner from me in Upton then. Mine is a 1998 Westfield SEW with a 1.6 Xflow... Although currently SORNed, I'm always happy to show people around

It's a road legal car :-)

There up and downs as with anything and there are many threads about it.

Motorway to high revs but that can be sorted with different diff

But all in all love them

Im a forum moderator on the northants mx5 site
Also have friend who breaks them think he has a facebook page. His names james handy.
Overstone is the 3rd Monday of the month

OK sounds like a trip to Overstone and to MK are both on the cards then
Any idea what time the Overstone meet is?
I don't know where Overstone Manor is but I'm sure I'll find it. I know the general area.
