Harness top mounts, Steering rack lock nuts
Howlor - 28/7/05 at 08:09 PM

Hi,

Can anyone help me with the upper harness mounts on my Vortx. Do they use eyes or bolts and do I just bolt them through the panel that the cage is fastened too?

Also I have noticed my rack doesn't have any lock nuts on it so technically the tracking could change, does everyone else have the standard Sierra lock nuts on as well as the MNR hex adaptors?
Thanks,
Steve

my harnesses came with bolts that go straight into the threaded tubes on the chassis (through the harnesses of course).

My track rod arms and extensions came with lock nuts. I think that you need them really.

Cant help with the belts but i think youl find the track ends need lock nuts for SVA. They also help to stop your arms winding out.

same as colin (smart51) here, mine has threaded tubes welded on. AFAIK the older chassis has the long flat plate across the top, perhaps theres some mounts on plates that can be bolted on?
