I have an escort rear axle for sale..not sure what final ratio is, it is in good condition with decent backplates..new shoes, no fitting kit for shoes tho.

Its going as i need to find a wider axle to replace it as my wheels are lost and very far away with velocity arches on!

Open to offers for it.. can get a brand new pair of drums for £40 extra too if anyone is interested.

If anyone has a capri axle or anything ford that is wider than 57" between the backplates hanging about that needs a home let me know!

The widest capri is only 52" .Sierra is about what your after but is IRS not a live axle.

was thinking about going down the irs route and fitting sierra diff etc but a wider rear axle would prob be the quickest/cheapest option for me as my build budget is quite sad.

Also, the build not off to a great start if i cant read a tape measure,my axle is 48" between backplates..so a 52" axle would be a peach, even if a 57" existed it would be madness i am a tool.

James on here had an atlas axle for sale see link most are 52" but some early ones were only 50" Not a million miles from you ..

I've got a capri axle fitted to my car that i'm swapping to an escort axle - shame i'm not local.

volvo axle is wiiiiiiidddddeeee - and comes in a few favourite ratios - even has an LSD option for £350
