i bought the MNR Ali fuel tank and filler cap, but what should i use for the pipe in between it aint that long!
Does any one know where i get it??
The fuel hose you use must be SVA compliant, ie marked up as Fuel hose, or if not marked, you will need a manufacturers Spec sheet to show compliance
with the regs.
I just got some nice thin walled very flexible 50mm pipe from Europa spares.
However, its not marked and they dont have a spec sheet for it. However, they said they will send me a letter stating it is compliant.
I must admit that a supplier of kit car parts wasnt aware that you needed to have compliant hoses for fuel lines.
I would have thought it was obvious as petrol is a solvent, and also very flamable.
They did tell me who the supplier was and I have Emailed them as well.
I suppose it depends if you are using the pipes from your Donor car, or using all new parts.
What ever you do, make sure its the correct pipe and is safe. Dont run ANY wiring alonfside or near your fuel pipes.
Its dangerous in the event of an accident, and wont meet SVA regs.
Hope this helps.
sounds fine to me cheers.....
......and the damage (cost£)

I bought some fuel pipe from Tifosi, at Detling. It's a bit pricey, but it does need to be correct to get through the SVA. They also provide a
certificate with it.
The only problem is it's not very flexible, so I'm going to need a connector to get it in the right place for the cap.
Steve.
mnr sell the pipe you require 2" bore for filler neck to tank not sure about price though
the flexible stuff we have isnt cheap but will bend to 90 degrees without the wall collapsing due to the wire reinforcing inside, you can buy 90
degree fuel filler neck pipes from europa i think
best regards
marc
How much is your fuel pipe from filler to tank?
Joao
