Hi all.

Could you guys take some photos of the nose and side panel contact zone?
As the nose is round and the side panel is square, I'm not sure how it will align ...

Also if you could also take some photos from the suspension holes plus the steering rack I would appreciate a lot.

Thanks in advance,
Joao

I put the nose cone on and butted it up against the main body of the car, then with a felt tip ran it down the side and cut that off repeating the process till i had a nice smooth edge!! then filed and sanded to the curved shape which is easy enough once you start getting some waste material out the way!!

Good luck!!

hi steve did you get the pics for the order of fit re exhaust ???

JoaoCaldeira - 15/6/06 at 07:59 PM

Thank you very much, Steve.

I wasn't sure about how to fit a round nose to a straight side (vertical wise, I mean)

Anyone with a RT?

Thanks again,
Joao

Ill get you some pics today Joao. I got a little carried away by cutting slightly too much back on one side of the tub. I evened them up and used some trim. This also has the benefit of being flexible.

Small amounts bit by bit is the way to go to get the best line between nose and side panels.

Actually, this make 2 of us!! I didn't realise that the nose is round in both planes and make the cut on the side panel straight!!!

Can you post some pics of what you've done, plese?

Thanks,
Joao

Not yet fixed it in place, but I plan to just put a couple of rivets in.

I have a rivet on the top into the intersection of the chassis rails and a couple from underneath, rock solid
