I've just unwrapped the link piece between the column in preparation for fitting the rack.

What should I use to fix the trangular shaped end to the steering column? There are 2 threaded holes but nothing going over the top.

There should be a plate that bolts across the 2 flats. Usually one side is pivoted and bolts the other.
