I am using the original R1 clocks and have bought a MNR fuel tank and sender. When I connected the wires, the clock low fuel light stays on. Do I need
a resistor or something fitting.
Please keep it simple
cheers Rob

Yep, a 470 ohm resistor worked for me.
Take the fuel line feed in to the clocks and ground it to earth through the resistor.
where can I buy the resistor from.
Does it have to be a special type of resistor.
Maplin have shops all over the country and also do mail order, but the 2p cost of a resistor will be swamped by the postage.
In the olden days, a TV repair shop would sell you one. I don't suppose there are such places today.
Robert,
u2u me your address, I think I have some in the garage.
