Zooming on with the build, can hardly keep up with meself.
Its off the 3 foot high stands now on its own wheels! Well two anyway.
Question is I'm a little confused over the nuts and bolts provided in the kit. I've used unf stuff all round the back and on the bushes
inboard at the front. Right out of unf gear now but loads of M12.
Its the shock location I'm wondering over, I have none of those little rose joint spacers left and only M12 bolts for the shocks. Are they ok on
the shock as they are a little loose being 0.7mm under the unf size of the holes in the spherical of the shock locations, and are washers ok up
against them?
What have all you veteren builders used, mine is a Vortx RT.
Cheers,
Steve
I think the correct bolts for the shock's are 1/2", at least they were on mine, easy to get hold of. I used washers to space mine, seems to be working fine. HTH Ray
Anything with rosejoints is 1/2 " UNF, the bolts for the bushes are 12mm. Cut some 1/2" id tube to make spacers, much neater & also
lighter than using washers.
Cheers
Ian
plus when you send your car to JPS for the suspension to be set up properly they dont have to faff about with washers!!!!

I didn't get the bag of 60 washers you speak about. There was a lot but not that many.
I've ordered some bolts at different lengths to better suit the brackets and stop the threads touching the body work.
Steve
appologies on the bolt front they have been put in the incorrect trays 1/2 to m12 and vice versa same with m10 and 7/16
Erm- I'd better check mine then....
