I've been making a wind deflector for my Vortx. This is how its looked when doing a dry fit today. It will be sanded underneat to make it a closer fit to the scuttle and then given a final coat of paint.

Fibreglass. I made a template out of card and then laminated it in GRP.

that looks great!

before I read that you'd made it, my first thought was 'did he cannibalise the old scuttle to make the wind deflector?'

that looks excellent colin. Mostly the nose and the colour, but the deflectors not bad either
