Hi Everyone
I've taken delivery of my MNR Vortx.
I went for the inboard suspension and full cage, with R1 power.
Build has just started, got the bulkhead panels on, pedal box and master cylinders mounted, all the brake lines run and P clipped.
Got a long way to go - but look forward to it.
I've met Ian who was good enough to take me for a spin in his V8 - wow !
And Chris from the BEC Club.
Just wanted to say hello and will probably be asking for advice from you kind people at some point.
Rob
howdy!
nice to see more MNR's popping up, cracking choice
Hey up Rob.
Nice to have met you. It was a pleasure to take you out in the V8.
Regards

Good luck Rob, great choice,
I collected my kit in February and it was on 4 wheels in 3 weeks. Run out of cash now!

Nice choice of location for a Seven too!! Lots of exceedingly 7 friendly roads round that neck of the woods...
blatting round the North Circular doesn't have the same attraction as whipping over the York Dales!!!!
Good luck with the build.
Hi Rob,
Nice to see someone local to me starting a build. Give me a shout if you need a hand ever.
Cheers
Mark
Oh no!!!!! I dont think that area is ready for 2 se7en thugs
(Ducks for cover)
Welcome to the forum. Nice choice.
Wow !!
What a welcome, thanks guys.
I went for a one stop shop with Chris and Marc, so everything is the garage waiting to be put together.
I intend to get it together quite quickly, but quality of work comes before speed of assembly.
I've blown my budget out of the water, but what the hey - you only live once.
Thanks for all the kind offers of help and advice - I will be drawing on your experience.
Cheers
Rob
Hi.
Congrats on the aquisition.
You'll find lots of R1 powered MNRs here, so feel free to ask anything.
The best for the build!!
Joao
Hi Rob
My brother bill went up to mnr last year to buy an R1 powered vortx, after hearing it I bought one to.
Good luck in the build.
Whatever you end up spending on it will certainly be cheaper than any new Caterham. Good luck on your build!
