She's only a bl@@dy runner!

Was at local autoparts emporium at 9am this morning. Bought oil, a few other bits and then went to fill a jerry can with fuel.

Got home - filled with fluids. Attached fuel hose at tank end. Put exhaust headers on loosly - facing forwards out of garage.

Disconnected the fuel pump. Turned engine over for 30 seconds. Connected fuel pump. A while more turning-over; doubts creeping in. Then a cough. Next a cough and a splutter. Then it would run while the starter was turning. Soon it's firing on four cylinders and I'm a very happy boy.

Considering the extent that I butchered the bike-loom this is a major achievement for me. I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me get this far - notably Fesycresy, Lenny (long time since posted but still around) CJTherman, Bistilly, Worx and of course the chaps @ MNR!

HAPPY DAYS!!!!!
