What's happened to locostparts.net ?

It just redirects to the MNR site now

I exchanged a few emails with Chris the other week regarding some parts and was told that they were having to drop it due to not having enough resource to support Locostparts and the cars (despite taking on more staff) as they now have a massive demand for cars. I think that the priority is the cars and they want to focus on keeping customers happy (unlike some!)

Cheers both, thought as much

I've been wanting a Zetec inlet manifold flange for months and I've been waiting for 'em to get a bit less busy...

It's not a dig, and I understand totally why Chris is doing it, but I can't help thinking that I only ever hear of British companys turning business down, it'd be unthinkable anywhere else

Cheers all, T

robin hood do some inlet parts - not sure if they do the one you want. Have you tried the normal sort of people to see if they'd sell you one?

I was looking at the Raceleda (sierra replacement) uprights myself in order to save a chunk of weight on my car. Guess i am gonna have to think again then.

Not sure but I think they might still be selling those bits. Seems to be the fabricated stuff that is no longer available.

I have let MNR know mabout this tread I hope that marc/chris will be along to clarify shortly.

What I will say is that nipped over there yesterday as I was 'On a MNR mission'.

The current work schedule appears to be 2/3 chassis a week ( and I think the order book is full until Jan ) plus marc is apply his brain to the finnishing the LMP.

hi all
yes we have had to suspend the locostparts site for the time being, due to high workloads we where no longer able to provide the level of service we pride our selves in being able to offer, most parts are still available through mnr sportscars but fabricated and one offs will now incur a longer order time

appologies

and best regards

marc
