Can anyone tell me if this is the correct orientation for the fuel sender or does it need to go more to the centre of the tank.

I put mine at one end as per uncle ron's book.
Dont think it really matters as long you clear the internal baffles. You only get a true reading when the car is on a straight and level flat piece of
road but at least if the sender is in the middle of the tank you reduce the extremes of the camber effect on the fuel level in the tank

Looks good to me. As long as it clears the baffles and the tanks flat at the bottom..
I caught a baffle when i drilled mine. I bought it as an unbaffled tank so i was surprised to find it there.

cheers for the reply's, it was the float position that I was unsure of, if it needed to be more in the centre of the tank.
It will be more accurate at the back of the tank as that is the deepest side, so I'll fit it there.
