Side repeater...
coozer - 16/2/08 at 01:45 PM

Any objections to me putting my side repeaters down on the main body work instead of the scuttle on my MNR?

I see MK's and the like with them down there but almost all the MNR's have them on the scuttle. Why is that??

Cheers,
Steve

I don't know if there is any SVA requirement/rule on where they should go, but personally I would not want to cut my side panel to fit them there.

If I was doing mine again, I'd fit the side repeaters in the main side panel. Makes removing the scuttle easier for access to the wiring, IMHO.

I guess it's just a matter of where they look good / comply with SVA requirements.

Steve, just in case you haven't got a copy handy, this is the image from the guide (I think!)

Thanks Mike, I was thinking along the same lines as you, easy to remove the scuttle and down on the sides permanent hard wiring.

what about getting some of the stick on ones and mount them on a bracket between the scuttle and main panel
