Build progress - Hungarian MNR
Gergely - 21/7/08 at 07:54 AM

Hi guys, thought I'd post some pics on our progress. We picked up the kit around the middle of June, but only got to start the build in July due to holidays. Until now we have spent 4 full days on it, only working on Saturdays - agreement with the ladies...
The ali panels are in, battery, loom, pipes, pedal box secured. We have trial fitted the suspension, prepared for the seat fixing and readiedhe engine for installation together with the diff which is being cleaned now.
Any tips or comments welcome!
Here is our build site, with more pics, but warning, it's in Hungarian...

Interesting suspension geometry/mounts.

Some people may say that your bottom wishbones are upside down...

Steve

Looking very good though Gerge!

Yes, I know... I checked the debate around this and Marc's suggestion is to mount the bottom wishbone with the circlip below (like ours has it now) to avoid problems, but they could be mounted both ways.

After each build section we vacum clean the car and sweep the floor. At the end of each day we hang the tools to their places and sweep the floor, empty the rubbish bin...
During the week there is a car, 2 more bikes (6 in total) in the garage, plus a pram and some childrens toys. We can't leave the place looking like a mess...
Cheers! Gergely

Haha! Yes, he is there usually. That pic on the blog is after he spilled my beer all over the garage floor and then licked it all up... He went to sleep afterwards...
