Leaking Diff
Wells - 14/8/08 at 02:11 PM

My Diff is leaking on the n/s were the drive shaft connects to the diff itself. Its a sierra 3.14. Any ideas why? or how to fix?

You can get new seals where the drive shaft goes into the diff.

www.bearingkits.co.uk or you can still get them from Ford.

As ^^^^. Not too bad a job to do - just be careful putting the new seal in as they can get damaged. I might even have a couple of spare seals sitting in the garage

What do you feed them on? Are they noisy? Thought about giving them to a zoo instead of trying to add new ones in (never realised they where territorial seals, always looked nice on the telly)

If you have one spare Paul that would be good. Will all sierra seals fit?
