Pinto Head Bolts
wrigglypig - 28/1/10 at 03:28 PM

Just about to put the head back in my 2ltr Pinto, and wondering about the 10 bolts. does anuone know if these are vstretch bolts? they have a 6 six sided star fitting in the top. They dont have a narrow waited section like I would imaging stretch bolts would have? Or can I just reuse them any pros or cons appreciated?

Hi, the early spline bolts are not stretch bolts the later torx ones are
burton pinto head bolts here
might be worth a call as when i built my coosie motor they told me a length to measure and also a torque figure if you couldnt reach the figure you had to replace the bolts
