another tub fitting q

Hi, just wondering if its recommended to take the body off once the rear driveshaft cut outs have been made as id like to get it done but there are some other bits i imagine i will need to take the tub off again for. So just wanted to make sure if i do it it wont crack from being weaker.
Cheers
Adam
