Engine Install - Bulkhead

I have dropped my engine in today and seem to of come across a problem, the gearbox casing is touching the NS bulkhead.

I can just about get a piece of paper between the bulkhead and the engine, is this a problem anyone has come across before

The engine is a 2003 R1

Is the engine solid mounted?if so you should be ok but if it was me [ if you can ] put a indentation in the bulkhead to stop it vibrating on the engine

Or ring mnr to make sure the engine cradle is made right

I had the same problem, only about a 10th of a mm clearance. Checked with Marc he confirmed it was okay (engine is solid mointed, no rubber mounts like a CEC).

Thanks, they all seem to be very similar but with varying (small) gaps - if that makes sense
