1000 bec,whats the best can?
whats the best standard can to use for a 1000 cc bec for lowest db. I was thinking of zzr1400 or hyabusa etc ?

well i would guess that the one that was fitted to the bike as standard would be best as that would have been designed to work with that engine
ps if its a gsxr1000 you have i have one of the titanium(sp) cans and an adaptor made up to fit onto a 2" exhaust for sale if your interested i

thanks for the offer, il have a look at your can, at the moment i have a zx12 can and with track day dbs getting lower just woundering if i could get
mine lower with out having to spend hundreds on custom can .

The R1 can from the earlier bikes is one of the best at reducing the db's IIRC.
You need the early carbon one ideally as the pipe work is stainless steel and therefore easily fettled to suit. The later one's (2000 onwards)
were titanium and while they were fitted with a small cat, are a PITA to make fit (even Bogg Brothers couldn't sort mine for me).
