MNR Fuel Tank - Return Pipe / Tank Vent

Hi,

I am running a carbed Blade unit therefore I have no need for the return fitting near the filler neck on the MNR ally tank. Should I just blank this off or is it wise to use this as a vent to avoid a vacuum in the tank. If so what is the best way of doing this?

Thanks

yep use that as a vent with a suitable one way valve enables much quicker fuelling,

and for the benefit of other builders

when running fuel injected use that outlet as a return then use a vent pipe in the filler neck

best regards

marc
